Cocktail history

Nemiroff Mule cocktail is a signature drink from the Ukrainian brand with a unique combination of spicy flavours with a distinct berry hue. It is made using Nemiroff products, which have a mild taste without a pronounced sense of alcohol. The Nemiroff Mule vodka cocktail is an analogue of the classic Mule with an alcohol content of approximately 13%. It is a carbonated alcoholic beverage with a spicy ginger flavour and a light citrus tinge. As in the classic recipe, our variation uses Nemiroff vodka, ginger ale (beer) and citrus juice. The main feature of the drink is its presentation – the cocktail is presented in a copper mug (you can use a regular glass at home).

The United States is the birthplace of the Mule cocktail. There, it is appreciated for its mild taste and quick intoxication (called the ‘velvet hit’), which is caused by carbon dioxide from ginger ale. The Nemiroff Mule is an analogue of the classic drink, which was created in 1941 in New York’s Chatham Hotel in Manhattan. A year later, it became the most popular drink in Los Angeles, and then it was actively served to gamblers in Las Vegas casinos.

As with our other signature vodka cocktail recipes, we have enhanced the taste of this drink by adding Mure liqueur with a distinct blackberry berry flavour, as well as Strega liqueur with herbal notes. All of this helped create a unique taste with many facets and shades.

Best pairings for this cocktail

Firstly, it is worth noting that Nemiroff Mule with vodka is not a snack. The drink has a rich flavour with a variety of shades – spicy from ginger ale, sour from fresh juice, berry and herbal. It should not be overshadowed by food. However, if you want to serve snacks, fruit slices are the best way to go with it. It is best to take sweet and sour fruits: apples, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, apricots, strawberries, and others.

Author’s alcoholic cocktails by Nemiroff impress you with their original taste and unique combinations. You will definitely find something you like.
