LLC “LVN LIMITED” has received a grant from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for the development of project documentation to construct a biogas plant that will process stillage from the Spirit Production Workshop (SPW). The call for participation in tender NBC2024D was posted on the E-Tender platform to attract a wide range of potential contractors, including international companies.
Based on the tender results and the decision of the tender committee on 21.03.2024, LLC “AS-INZHGROUP” was selected as the winner to provide project development services.
As part of the grant, GIZ will provide Nemiroff with funding amounting to €1.3 million, representing 20% of the total cost for the construction of the biogas facility to process stillage—waste from ethanol production. The project is expected to be implemented over an 18-month period.
Nemiroff CEO Yuriy Sorochynskyi highlighted the importance of this GIZ grant and the role of the biogas complex in the company’s modernization:
We aim to achieve carbon neutrality by using environmentally friendly solutions, such as producing organic fertilizers from waste. Our goal is to play a significant role in preserving ecosystems and mitigating climate change.
